Subject: RE: skydiving photo Hey everyone at AtmosphAIR! I came this past Labor Day to skydive for the first time. I just wanted to officially thank everyone again for an experience of a lifetime. Any nerves that I had dissolved by the time I got there and met everyone. I’ve never met a happier, more spirited bunch and I’m missing you all already! I want to say thanks again to my video flyer Tim! Sorry if I wasn’t very interactive and enthusiastic as I should’ve been on camera; I was so tired from the night before and was trying not to think about the reality of the situation! You made me an awesome dvd and I’ve probably watched it like 50 times already. My parents are ready to make copies and send it to everyone we know, including all our relatives in the Philippines. Everyone was asking who was video recording and interviewing me; I should’ve had you introduce yourself and got in the video with me! Of course, I especially want to thank my tandem instructor, Charlie. After watching my dvd so many times, I realized I didn’t properly express my gratitude to you after we landed. I was so breath taken and high on sky, not to mention sleep deprived and starved, that I just had to grab the closest seat so I could recoup and tame my windblown hair that I didn't finish fixing in the canopy! ;) If I had a chance to redo that moment, I would've given you a big hug and a super high five! You were right about the perma-grin; people keep asking what I’m always smiling about. Everyone said I seemed so relaxed in the dvd and asked me where I found the courage to do it. I told them, “Well you don’t have to be that brave when your new best friend is a professional skydiver. It was easy to place my trust in Charlie because he was clearly experienced, reassured me of my safety, and made sure I was having fun. I just did as I was told, trying not to cramp his style while he did all the fancy stuff!” Thank you so much for sharing this unforgettable experience with me- it wouldn’t have been the same without you. Your fun, easygoing, and adventurous personality is refreshing and it must be your secret to staying so young! Don’t forget me because next time you have to take me for a backflip like in that dvd you showed us! Then maybe after that, who knows, I might be daring enough to attempt at getting licensed! I also want to thank Rita for being patient with us while we analyzed the intended meaning and appropriate sequence for our song choices on our dvds! :D Thank you, Bo (Happy Belated Birthday again!), for your positive attitude and inspirational encouragement during class. I thought my life was getting a little hectic lately, but now it all just seems so silly after you’ve jumped out of a plane! And thank you Alex, even though I didn’t get an opportunity to meet you in person, for adding my friend and I to our group last minute, for answering my questions over the phone and assuring us that we were in good hands, and for sending my still pictures to me! I can't remember everyone's names, but thank you all for your hospitality and for inviting us, even though we couldn't stay, to stick around for food/drinks and watch fun jumping. This skydive was supposed to be a one-time deal, a milestone for year 25 of my life, a checkmark on my bucket list- but I don’t know now, we’re already talking about when we’re going again and who else is coming along this time! I truly admire what you all do at AtmosphAIR. Giving us the opportunity to jump itself was incredible, but sharing this entire experience with all of you is what makes it one of my most treasured memories. Thanks a million, take care, and see you all soon, Kristina

Subject: Thank you! Bo and Alex, I want to thank you and your entire team for the experience of a lifetime! I have made 3 jumps so far and that is because of the friendly, caring, and energetic staff you have. Being a RN, safety has always been a priority in my life. AtmosphAir made safety a priority with each jump. This was demonstrated through the training and working with experienced and knowledgeable tandem instructors! There are a lot of people behind the scene that also need to be recognized, for instance the packers, the videographers and video editor’s. Please extend my thank you’s to everyone. I hope to see you next year! I am considering going for my licensing! Mary Kurtzweil

Subject: 24AUG09 0907 Good Morning, I just wanted to thank the owners and staff one more time. I rode along on a tandem yesterday and loved it. You have so many people come through there I wouldnt expect you to remember, but my name is Becky. I'm actually home on a 15 day leave from a deployment in Iraq.... I've wanted to try sky diving for years. I can never find anyone else that wants to go with me. All chickens! Finally found someone on Friday to go with me.... I'm jumping again as soon as my military career allows. I'm sure i'll get another 15 day leave on my next deployment that i'll come back to jump. Your company is the best and I wouldnt think of going anywhere else. I'll certainly tell many about it and hopefully I can do a little advertising for you. Of course you dont need the help! But the reason you offer such good customer service is to have returning customers and have those customers spread the word. Ceser, the gentleman I came with also loved it and will be bringing others with him next time. Thank you, Becky

Subject: August 23rd jump Hello everyone, I just wanted to say that I had a wonderful, wonderful time today!! For the past two weeks I felt so nervous & scared & excited & a million other things whenever I thought about the jump. Every time I would think about it my stomach would twist into knots and I would get butterflies. haha. I laugh now, but I remember asking myself, "What the heck am I doing?" Then I thought, "I like my life... I've made it pretty far... and I don't bounce well... What the HECK am I doing??" I didn't know what to expect and I think that's what made me so scared. I was so curious that ~everyday before the jump, I watched skydiving videos on youtube and it totally psyched me out! I was freaked! But when today came I was more excited than scared... The instructors were so reassuring! They were very down-to earth, chill, and professional. That helped transition the feeling I had of anxiety to BRING IT ON! When we got in the plane, I knew I had the option of backing down - should I want to... but I didn't. I was ready to do it. I loved ascending through the clouds and anticipating what it will feel like to scoot towards the open door, feel the fast - unforgivingly brisk wind rush over my face, look out over the horizon - and yell a quick "BRING IT ON" before tumbling towards the earth. I thought about how wonderful it would be to reach out to grab a piece of cloud... My heart stopped, it was finally our turn to go. I was facing the door and then it hit me. I thought, "OMG! This is crazy...CRAAAZY!" But I still wanted to do it. My instructor, Jon, was phenomenal. We placed our feet on the steps, I held onto my harness, and we fell out of the plane. The fall was not nauseating like an amusement park ride. It was zensational!!! What a breathtaking, life-changing, simply unexplainable experience! "Now I know why the birds sing" haha. I'm thinking I might quit medical school & get certified. lol. Or graduate and just do this every chance I get. What a therapeutic stress reliever. HOOKED for life, Joy Date: August 3, 2009 4:33:00 PM CDT Subject: Attn: Bo -- Skydiving on Saturday Bo, I just wanted to Thank You and all your team for such a wonderful experience skydiving for the first time on Saturday. Now 28, but wanting to skydive for at least the last 12 years, you made the experience one of a kind. I had a feeling that I would get hooked, and after we landed…..I knew I would be back. I have every intention of coming back to AtmoshAir to complete my AFF classes when the time comes. Likely next summer, for $$ reasons, but I truly cant wait. 48 hours since we jumped out of the airplane and I cant stop thinking about it. I am glad I got to jump with you and got to know you. Allison and I, and the rest of our party are very thankful for your hospitality and service you provided to us! Cant wait to Jump again! JUMP AGAIN, Date: July 28, 2009 1:53:42 PM CDT I just wanted to say a huge THANKS to you all! My husband had his first jump Sat the 25th and he is still talking about it and is so excited. It was so nice to see him so happy. Jon was his partner and he did an awesome job. We had the best experience with you and your staff everyone was great! We will defiantly be back next summer. We are working on getting a group together to jump. So thank you again for a great time! Cindy RitzertDate: July 21, 2009 9:22:57 PM CDT I just made my first jump this past Sunday, and it was SO amazing! Thank you so much for all that you do with the lesson, helping to build the anticipation and excitment, the amazing flight up, and of course, the breathtaking trip back to the world below. It was truly a wonderful experience and I absolutely cannot wait to do it again. My parents also appreciate all of the safety precautions and everything that goes along with that. Again, thank you so much! Sincerely, Date: July 19, 2009 8:33:29 PM CDT Hi everyone, I am Briana Rehberg's mom. Bri jumped for her first time today with Howie. Thanks Howie, you did a great job. The dvd is awesome, Bri has been talking non-stop about the experience. We are so impressed with the professionalism and the way you all treated the kids. If any of us had any second thoughts about letting our kids jump, those thoughts were put to rest as soon as we saw your facility and met the staff. We will definetely spread the word to our friends and family. My husband and I celebrate our 25th anniversary in October, and I think we will make the jump. Thanks again Howie, you can tell you love what you do. Joan Rehberg Subject: July 11th 2009 Skydiving I did my first jump on this day, and it was hands-down the greatest thing I've ever experienced. I can't begin to commend the staff: Charlie (my plutonic new best-friend) who pushed me out of a plane then saved my life shortly afterwards, :) Tasha for the unbelievable video that I will always consider to be one of my greatest treasures, and the rest of the staff who have perfectly fine-tuned the skydiving experience for anyone willing to live on the edge for a minute. I can attest that anyone who goes there feeling a bit nervous will feel a LOT more comfortable with what they're about to do after just listening to your initial words and going through your demonstrations. I was blown away by how professional and easy-going everyone there was, and how much you all seem to love sharing this experience with other people. I would recommend AtmosphAIR to anyone who is ready to experience skydiving, and would be scared to go anywhere else for fear of them not living up to your standards. I'm writing this to officially thank Charlie, Tasha, and the rest of the staff (because I think I was on such a natural-high that I may not have thanked them properly after the jump), and to give you guys another testimonial if you'd want to put something this long on there (even parts). I just think it's the least I can do. I'll surely be back someday, and will always recommend this place to everyone. Thanks again! Louis Falligant ![]() Subject: 4th of July Skydive Hi Everyone! Pennie Opdahl and family... I attached a picture of our crew!!Subject: 6/27/09 Christy Renz - Birthday Skydiving I just wanted to thank you for giving me an experience that I will never...ever....forget. I will never experience something like that again...unless of course I come back out and do it for the second time. I am sure the experience is nothing like the very first time though. Thank you Bo, for making it the best. I had a great time and cant wait to do it again. And thank you Chris for training me.....you are all the best. Christy Renz
Hi Bo & Alex,
I just wanted to "Thank You" for providing such an invigorating experience for both Michelle and I. Michelle is still gleaming from the experience and how "peaceful" the parachute ride was. This is something she doesn't get enough of in her life (especially as an educator) so she truly savors what this offered. I think I'm still befuddled with the whole experience, but in a good way - simply put WOW!!! I know Michelle would love to do it again and for myself I would have to agree - I think the 1st time was a little overwhelming for me so a 2nd time would allow me to enjoy it even more. I will have to start a seperate fund to allow us a chance to go again sometime. We had a wonderful time (along with our friends) and have been telling plenty of people what a great experience it was and what a great job you guys do!!! P.S. - I would have to agree with Bo, I don't know that one word to describe jumping out of a plane, but I think "invigorating" is a good start. Sincerely, Justin Hi Everyone!
Hi Alex,
About a month and a half ago I visited your skydiving center, one day before I went back home to Europe. Even though it's already been a while, I must say that I think back on my jump almost every day. It was without a doubt the best thing I could ever do to end my semester in Madison with. I've re-watched the DVD a couple of times and my heartbeat still goes up every time I watch it. If I ever have the chance to jump out of a perfectly good airplane again, I will definitely do it! Give my best to Bo, who made me feel perfectly comfortable throughout the whole experience, and also a special thanks to you for making us all feel very welcome and at ease at Atmosphair. Best wishes, Bart Nijman |
